Senior Class Campaign Participation
How does my participation in making a gift to Cornell help the Class of 2008?
Upon starting our campaign, Trustee Abby Cohen '73 and David Cohen '73 had given our class a challenge. For the first 1000 seniors who made a gift of $5 or more to the Annual Fund, the Cohens would give $25 to establish a Class of 2008 Scholarship. This money would be invested in Cornell's endowment, which will allow our scholarship to grow. Every year, starting with the Class of 2009, one rising senior will receive a portion of the Class of 2008 Scholarship to help them pay for their financial needs. With your help, we will be able to reach a participation level of 1000 seniors to establish the Class of 2008 Scholarship to leave behind as our legacy.
